Our recent experience with Tuff N Uff!

KnockoutLounge has been around for quite a few years. We've had our ups and downs like most sites, although usually to the extreme. Our ups, everyone knows our name – our downs, we completely stop pushing out content and head back to the drawing board.

During a brainstorming session promoting and supporting up and coming MMA, I reached out to one of the most respected and longest running Amatuer promotions, Tuff N Uff. I remember sending a message to Jeff Meyer (I believe I woke him up) requesting some of his time to do a brief interview with him on Tuff N Uff and it's past, present, and future. He replied that he would be happy to do it, but at the moment he's trying to sleep and that conversation ended there.

A few days later, the MMA community has received some upsetting news, that the President of Tuff N Uff, Jeff's brother, had passed away. I offered my condolences and kept my distance during the grieving process. The amount of love and support that has circulated the Tuff N Uff family after this tragedy was just amazing. Everyone has come together, further solidifying my reason for being involved in MMA. We as a community have some of the strongest support lines; every fighter, fan, and promoter shares a silent bond that in the midst of a tragedy or in the event someone needs help, we band together.

Fast forward to a happier time; I reached out to Jeff again and became in contact with both Jeff Meyer and Jason Lilly regarding my website and what it is I aim to do for up and coming MMA fighers – in which they immediately welcomed me with open arms.

From early December until now, I've been doing what I can to support their upcoming fight card by interviewing their roster of fighters. The Tuff N Uff team has reached out to me by phone, email, and chat to answer any questions or concerns I may have and always seem grateful for every completed interview or write up. As a 'silent-website' it means the world to have established such a bond with this company. Every fighter I've interviewed has been more than willing to answer questions and even continue chatting with me after the process is over… I feel Tuff N Uff holds a bond like no other.. Every fighter and staff member gravitates toward one another and almost feels like one big extended family. I am proud to be able to play my part in such an amazing promotion and I am sure to continue this relationship that we've built as well as supporting all Fighters On The Rise.

Tuff N Uff has an event scheduled for January 24th in Las Vegas, and if you cannot make it to Vegas; there is an iPPV link on their website. This is a show you do not want to miss – as their events are named, these are the "Future Stars of MMA". Below are links to our current interviews that have been completed on this fight card. Also please check out www.tuffnuff.com for more information on this event and how to purchase tickets and/or view online.

For those of you not able to attend Vegas you can purchase the iPPV (streaming) from your PC! www.ustream.tv/tuff-n-uff . It's only $9.99 USD, and you're going to catch a GREAT show, with great productions and supporting up and coming fighters. Please check their show times for your area before purchasing.
